Our History
County Schools Federal Credit Union opened on January 14, 1960, as Ventura Schools Federal Credit Union. A group of eight educators had a vision to create a not-for-profit financial cooperative to serve the educational community in Ventura County, embracing the credit union motto of “people helping people.”
County Schools Federal Credit Union continues to support Ventura County's educational community and their families while educating members and the community about financial awareness.
Our Impact
We uplift communities by empowering our members to live better and do better. Thanks to our members, here
are just a few ways County Schools FCU made a BIG difference in our lives and our community.
We've helped over 350 members purchase and refinance their homes.
We've helped over 417 members with purchasing vehicles.
We've supported 20 local organizations through donations or sponsored events.
We've donated over 150 employee hours volunteering in our community.
We have assisted our members with 15 educational workshops.
